For more than four decades the Upper Canada Golf Course has been delighting visitors to the Morrisburg area, along Ontario’s St. Lawrence Seaway. An asset of the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, at 6922 yards in length it as good of a test you might find in a public course.

Carved though forest and set alongside a tranquil waterway, each hole presents a new challenge, isolated from the noise of the world.

While they have a rich past, including being the host site for a Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada event in 2013, their staff is spending a lot of time looking ahead to help shape their future.

Pro shop manager Allen McNairn sat with Flagstick.com at the recent Ottawa-Gatineau Golf Expo. He shared some news from the course and updates on tee options, how they are allowing golfers to get around their course, and more.
