Since the TaylorMade AeroBurner driver was launched in January it was has been an instant success. In fact, on the PGA TOUR the product line is already making up approximately half the metal wood products being built on the TaylorMade Tour Support Truck according to staffers we spoke to at the Northern Trust Open.

Now the company is expanding the line-up for all golfers with the introduction of the AeroBurner Mini Driver, the AeroBurner Irons, and a golf ball that comes in two models.

The Mini Driver is likely to draw the most attention for its hybrid capabilities.

At 253cc and with a 43.5” shaft, the AeroBurner Mini Driver is targeted at the player who loves to hit their 3 wood off the tee.  In fact, it's two clubs in one, acting as a driver or a fairway three wood that boosts confidence with its fuller profile.

I would seriously consider gaming one of these if the price point was I litlle fairer , I believe the SLDR mini was almost the same price as the driver at one point last season . Anyways , I've recently started using my 3 wood a little more off the tee , mainly for consistency , but also for positioning purposes for approach shots , I can see a huge advantage in gaming one of these Mini drivers on a tighter course , I think the future has a Mini driver for me somewhere in it
