PING officially announced their 2015 product line this week and while many were paying attention to various putters and a lower spin version of their new G30 driver, it was the Women's Rhapsody line that caught my eye.

Always a leader in women's golf (just look to their sponsorship of the Solheim Cup and support of a large number of women touring professionals) it's been a few years since the Rhapsody line received an update.  The new variations incorporate the latest in engineering and design from a company that has a lot of strength in those areas.

“Based on our studies of women’s swing dynamics, we engineered the Rhapsody Series with a lighter overall system mass, higher lofts and optimized lengths,” says John A. Rhapsody Women’s Driver

Finally, some technical thought being put into a "women's specific" line, and not just men's clubs with a different paint scheme.

Adjustable driver, lighter shafts, better lofts, and 3 of the most popular putter designs ever. Nicely done, PING!

Throw in signings of local pros Brooke Henderson and Augusta James (both not using Rhapsody, btw) and PING is gaining some more fans.
