Those in tune with the golf equipment industry have long known that Tour Edge Golf makes some pretty fine fairway woods. If you take look at golf bags out on the PGA TOUR you can see their "quiet" use by some players contracted to other golf manufacturers.

The new Exotics XJ1 fairways, embody a club ideal for amateurs who struggle to make effective use of their fairway clubs, helping them perform more like the player they want to become.

The XJ1 models make use of a titanium variant Tour Edge engineers call "SuperMetal".  The 9-1-1 alloy is lightweight and strong (10% lighter than commonly used 6a4v titanium) allowing for the more effective distribution of mass, according to the company.

Because the body is so light in weight a full third of the clubhead's mass, 124 grams, can be located in the club's tungsten sole. This pushes the centre of gravity lower, allowing for easier launch of the golf ball.
