Years ago, in a chat room, I was among a bunch of gear heads talking about their equipment.  As proof of their passion for clubs each person in the group was asked to lay out the history of what driver they had gamed over the years.  Most of us could not list them all given how many we had tried.

Can you name all the drivers you have used, in just the last 10 years, for example?

Good luck...

What a good question but there's no way I can remember all the drivers as there are probably 8 of them in the last 10 years.  I'm just a sucker when I try on that I really like and it feels good.  The only club that has been in the bag for over 2 years is my 3 wood which is an old Tour Edge Exotics that I bought from the rep after trying it on the range and using it during a Men's night and he didn't get it back.

I will give this a go. I am a reformed ho, I used a lot of drivers in the first three or four years of the past ten, but I have settled down since then.

In 2005 I was using an Orlimar hipTi 420, which I still have, and which might be the best feeling, longest driver I every had.

After that I went Titleist 983K, Cobra 414 Comp (that I got from Jeff Scott, had a Graffaloy Blue in X, a bit stout for me....), Cleveland Comp, Ping G2, Callaway x460, TaylorMade R7 Draw, Ping G5, Nike Sumo, Nike Sumo squared, Cleveland Hi-bore (easily the worst driver on this list, it went in the trunk at the turn, I HATED THE HI BORE), Cally FT-5, Titleist 905R (I played this one for 2 seasons), Cally FT-5, Ping G10, Titleist 909 D2, Ping K15 (used this one the longest, 3 or 4 full seasons), Ping G25 (current).

Favourite drivers were the Orly, the 983K, the G2, the 905R, the K15 and the G25.

I played the G10 for more than a season too, but I didn't like it.

Hip Ti 420, Cobra HS9, SQ Dymo, Japanese Machspeed, Speedline, Cleveland Classic, Nickent 4DX, Genex Cross, FT-3, VR Tour, Superdeep TP, Adams XTD. I think that's it. Laugh
