So , the seasons here , and I need to work on improving my swing .

I would like to concentrate on irons , both approach play and mid irons , due to the , IMO , poor ball striking I'm bringing to my game .

Could  anyone recommend a coach/instructor ?

i live in the Westend but work close to the airport , I know of the ranges close by and what they offer , but personal recommendations would be preference , lmk if you know of anyone , thanks

Adam Holden at the Kevin Haime center. Great guy, and a real good instructor.

Yeah , not for me , I had him before and I can't say I was impressed, I'm sure he's a nice guy though

I read what you want to work on but how would you describe your learning style Wil?  Are you technical, all about feel, and what are your expectations of you instructor?  With a few more details I might be able to guide you to one of my fellow PGA of Ottawa members that would be a good fit.

You can PM if you like.

To be honest  , I'm not sure what my learning style would be Wink

if im guessing , I would be leaning more towards feel over technical , but at this stage I'm willing to learn and make the effort to improve what I knw I have problems with . My expectations of an instructor is simply to take what I have and help me improve , I won't have the perfect swing  but if possible , help me adjust what I need to make my swing more consistent .

Hope that makes sense Smile

There is no such thing as a perfect swing..so no worries.  A good coach should make you functional...at best, optimal, but there is no "perfect".  Let me chew on it and I'll get back to you.
