Which tournaments do people like to watch either live or on TV?   Depending on the the tournament I enjoy the PGA, like this weekend with the rowdy 16th, LPGA I enjoy most of the time as the distances of most and club selection relates closer to my game, Champions Tour I don't watch very often and European Tour I will watch in the mornings when I'm not golfing.

I'll take any coverage but majors for certain.  Open Championship and The Masters especially.

Live....well, anything I am not working at.  Great to be there but when you are at an event working it's way different than the fan experience of following who you want, when you want.

During NFL season I don't watch much except the Maui tourney (one of my top 10 of the year to watch). From the time of the NFC/AFC championships until the courses open for me to play I'll watch anything on tv. Have to admit I tend to watch mainly the PGA. Every time I watch LPGA I enjoy it, just never seemed to get into it regularly. And I've never really seen much of the senior tour.

Favourite tourneys are the majors (Open, US, Masters, PGA in that order), with Maui, Players, Pebble, and Canadian Open somewhere above PGA depending on the year's courses, then Torrey and Scottsdale rounding out my top 10. Next 5 pretty easy to choose too.

I don't watch too much golf on TV, but I definitely try to watch the majors, especially the British Open and the Masters. For regular PGA tournaments, I love watching the California tournaments, Riviera most of all. That course is amazing. I lose interest pretty quickly once golf season starts here. I also like watching the Aussie majors in the offseason, beautiful courses usually.

For live golf, I'll go to almost any pro tournament near where I am. I love watching pros and listening to the sound of their ball striking.

Never been to a live tourney. Canadian open is always the week of my anniversary and we tend to try and do something together that weekend

PGA TOUR Canada is also quality golf...You should check it out.  Many of the faces you know now on the PGA TOUR got their start on the tour.

The National Capital Open to Support our Troops will be played at Hylands GC in Ottawa this year from August 17-23. 20-23 are official tournament days.
