Second year PGA TOUR member Brad Fritsch has added another corporate partner.

The Manotick, Ontario raised pro has reached an agreement with TheTurn, a golf tee manufactured in Canada and backed by Ottawa-based entrepreneur Jeff Garber.

The Poly-Carbonate tees were on display at a number of golf shows this Spring and their screw type adjustability not only gathered attention, but considerable sales action as well.

A tee seems like a simple item with limited impact on golfers but Fritsch says he does not feel that is the case, that the new tee should provide performance value to players at all levels.

“A lot of golfers and instructors are now turning to technology like TrackMan and Flightscope to maximize their equipment and swing, so they want to be precise in how they play each shot. TheTurn tee lets them find what works for them personally and repeat it accurately every time,” Fritsch is quoted in a release from the company.  “Like they say, you just set it and forget it.”

Apparently Fritsch uses the #4 setting on the tee, which helps him to produce his desired lower ball flight.

It’s not everyday that a PGA TOUR player endorses a golf tee and the match between Fritsch and a company from Ottawa looks like a natural fit. Owner Jeff Garber is delighted at new partnership:

“Since the product launch five months ago the intention has always been to create a buzz around TheTurn.  Brad Fritsch has delivered the sonic boom.  “A PGA TOUR professional onboard brings instant credibility to our product and corporate messaging plus there is the added benefit of having a highly regarded and respected Canadian athlete using and promoting a Canadian made product.  The local support that Brad has is impressive but it also includes a solid reputation among his peers and the golf community.  Welcome aboard Brad and continued success.”

The agreement between TheTurn and Brad Fritsch will see him use an endorse the product of the next three years.

Fritsch also has endorsement deals with Titleist/Footjoy, RideauView Golf Club, Marret Asset Management, and Levelwear.
