Oakley Cipher Shoe
One of the most talked about new products of 2012. These shoes had their unveiling at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show and gained a fast following. The biggest feature of this shoe is the exceptionally light weight. This was achieved by ditching the more common spike platform in favour of “Nano-spikes”, a sandpaper-like surface with a huge number of contact points. Unlike a softspike shoe though, the Nano-spikes are replaceable for about $20. Watch for them in use by several Oakley staffers on the PGA Tour this season.
Sun Mountain ClubGlider Journey
Travelling with golf clubs on airlines is never easy but the new ClubClider Journey from Sun Mountain saves a lot of the usual hassles. The Journey is the smallest version of the three bag line previously introduced, giving you a better chance to meet airline baggage weight restrictions. Even in smaller size there is still plenty of space for your golf bag, clubs, and accessories. The extendable legs are what differentiate it from other carry bags, allowing you to roll smoothly through any airport.
