Fans of the Callaway Golf Big Bertha Alpha 815 driver will soon be able to fill out their golf bag with fairways and hybrids to match.
The company announced the extensions to the product line today, January 2nd.
Images of the clubs first appeared on the Callaway Golf Australia website late last year and were well-received by golf fans.
The compact head shape of the Big Bertha Alpha 815 Fairway Woods should really appeal to better players. Enhancing the design is a Forged Hyper Speed Cup Face – something the company says will assist ball speed and forgiveness at all impact areas of the face, especially on the lower half. Adjustable weights (3 gram and 30 gram) also allow you to fine tune the launch angle and spin rates.
Loft options include 14, 16, and 18 degree models – all with 8-way Optifit adjustability in the hosel.
The stock shaft is the Fujikura Speeder 655 with the popular Aldila Rogue 70 also offered as a custom order with no up charge.
The complementary Big Bertha Alpha 815 Hybrid will be available in 18, 20, and 23 degree options. Like the fairway woods they also have the 8-way Optifit adjustable hosel. They bear similar construction and design to the fairways with the Forged Hyper Speed Cup Face.
The stock shaft is a Fujikura Speeder 865
All clubs will be available at retail as of January 16th.
