This week the Golf Science Lab podcast with Cordie Walker tackles a very misunderstood term in golf instruction (by both students and instructors) – the difference between “Weight Shift” versus “Pressure Shift”.
Due to the availability of more affordable (and often portable) pressure measuring devices, how pressure in the feet is used has become a growing topic in the world of golf. Those studying it have found that the movement of pressure can help or hinder a golf swing motion, depending how it is used in concert with other parts of a swing.
It’s a fascinating topic and one you will learn more about in this podcast.
One of the key guests is Dr. Scott Lynn, originally of Toronto who also completed part of his education at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
