Canada’s Alena Sharp is just one stroke off the pace after the opening round of the LOTTE Championship presented by Hershey.
Sharp posted an opening 67 in Hawaii. She had a clean card with no bogies and shares third place with four other players.
The co-leaders, at six under par, are Mi Hyang Lee and Paula Creamer.
Canada’s Brooke Henderson also had a bogie free day. Her score of 70 (-2) has her in a share of 31st place.
The two other Canadians in the field are currently outside the projected cutline of -1.
Jennifer Ha is sitting at +1 (t-86) while Maude-Aimee LeBlanc is +3 (t-119)
