After a 30 tournament season where he earned over (USD) $1.8 million and nearly won the RBC Canadian Open (a final round where he says the atmosphere was “electric”) Canadian David Hearn is having some well-deserved time off before the start of the 2015-2016 wraparound PGA Tour Season.
He recently joined his clothing sponsor, Dunning Golf, in welcoming media to the St. George’s Golf & Country Club in Etobicoke, Ontario for a day of golf.
In a scrum before golf he spoke with Scott MacLeod of Flagstick.com along with journalists Jon McCarthy, Bob Weeks, and Garry McKay. The covered a gamut of subjects including the 2015 and 2016 golf seasons, anchored putting, young Canadians on tour, the PGA TOUR Player of The Year Race, and the Olympics.
You can hear that conversation here:
Our own Scott MacLeod leads off with asking David about his assessment of his 2015 season on the PGA TOUR.
