Brad Fritsch Adds Clothing Deal

brad fritsch 2013 shirtIn his debut as a PGA Tour member next week Brad Fritsch will be part of the Levelwear apparel team.

Brett Saunders, Brand Manager for the Toronto-based manufacturer, informed Flagstick on Wednesday that he had signed Fritsch to a deal starting in 2013 and running for three years.

Not only is it a Canadian connection, but an Ottawa Valley one, as Saunders was an outstanding amateur golfer who played out of Pembroke, Ontario for many years.

Fritsch, who also has a sponsorship deal with the Ottawa Senators hockey club, will showcase Levelwear’s NHL Golf Collection.  The line focuses on classically styled polos, outerwear, and activewear for men and women.

“I am very excited to partner with an up and coming Canadian golf clothing company to start my PGA Tour career. With Levelwear also being an NHL licensed apparel company this was a perfect fit to go along with one of my main sponsors, the Ottawa Senators,” Fritsch commented on the deal.

Saunders says he was eager to get a deal done .“We couldn’t be happier to have Brad representing Levelwear on the PGA Tour. This is our first PGA Tour sponsorship and Brad’s story of hard work, loyalty, and persistence to finally reach the upper echelon of his sport, closely mimics the direction of the Levelwear brand and the successes we’ve seen over the past 3 seasons. As a smaller Canadian manufacturer competing against the industries finest and most established names, growth does not come easy and it’s been exciting to see the tremendous business expansion we’ve been experiencing.”

Levelwear looks at the PGA Tour and the NHL as a great way to show off their growing lines of products.  “With Brad wearing our apparel on the PGA Tour, we feel our golf lifestyle inspired looks will really resonate with both golf and hockey fans, allowing them to show their team spirit in a very classy and sophisticated way,” said Saunders.

The Brand Manager also told us Wednesday that he has signed a two year deal with PGA Tour winner and former Ryder Cup player JJ Henry to wear the company’s headwear on the PGA Tour.  That will start this week with Henry in the field at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.

Fritsch will start his rookie PGA Tour campaign next week at the Sony Open in Hawaii.  His clothing will carry the logos of his sponsors, Levelwear, the Ottawa  Senators, Rideauview Golf Club, and Marret Asset Management.
