Coming off a tie for 21st place last week in the Bahamas, Brooke Henderson of Smiths Falls, Ontario is continuing to show good form on the LPGA TOUR.

Although two bogeys over the closing holes marred her opening round 70 at the Coates Golf Championship in Ocala, Florida, her play in round two (so far) has been error free.

On Thursday the 18-year old was two under par through 15 holes and -4 overall before rain halted play.

Her total gives her a share of 7th place with play expected to resume early on Friday morning.

Leaders Ha Na Jang and Lydio Ko are at seven under par.

Canada’s Maude-Aimee Leblanc is +2 overall just two holes into her second round while Hamilton, Ontario’s Alena Sharp is +5 overall with five holes left to play in round two.

The projected cut line when play was stopped was +1.
