Brooke Henderson took a big step into the semi-unknown last December.
Then 17 years old and the #1 ranked female amateur golfer in the world, she decided to take a pass on collegiate golf and turn professional.
Despite not having status on any tour she took the gamble that her talent would pay off.
It was not long before it did and she gathered wins on the SunCoast Tour, Symetra Tour, and eventually, the LPGA Tour. The latter she accomplished as the third youngest winner ever in the Tour history.
With a huge year behind her, and now a member of the LPGA Tour, the Smiths Falls, Ontario resident took some time to speak with Scott MacLeod of Flagstick.com about the wild ride of 2015 and what lies ahead for 2016.
In part one of the interview, presented here in Podcast format, Brooke gives her thoughts on 2015, her relationship with PING Golf, and some insight on what she learned about herself this year.
