The Symetra Tour – the official development path to the LPGA Tour, gets underway this week for 2015.  In doing so the tour will have a strong Canadian flavour.

Some 13 Canadian women will tee it up in the Gateway Classic at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.

Among those in the field from north of the border will be: Sue Kim, Jennifer Kirby, Maude-Aimee Leblanc, Rebecca Lee-Bentham, Brogan McKinnon, Lisa Meldrum, Natalie Gleadall, Samantha Richdale, Brittany Henderson, Augusta James, Nicole Vandermade, Sara-Maude Juneau, and Jessica Wallace.

Appropriately, LPGA Tour member and Canadian Alena Sharp was the winner in 2014.
