As she prepares for her 2017 Symetra Tour season, Brittany Marchand appears to be on form.

The Orangeville, Ontario area golfer earned a top ten finish on Wednesday on the National Women’s Golf Association Tour.

Marchand, a graduate of NC State, tied for 9th place with rounds of 73, 72, and 69 over the Black Bear golf course in Eustis, Florida.

She will be in the field for the Florida’s Natural Charity Classic on the Symetra Tour. That tour’s first event of the year starts on March 10th.

Also in that field will be LPGA Conditional status holder Augusta James of Bath, Ontario. James finished just one stroke behind Marchand at Black Bear. She earned 11th place with rounds of 73, 71, and 71.
