Dragonfly Golf Links in Renfrew, Ontario has a new day-to-day leader.  The club announced February 3rd that PGA of Canada member Bill Rainboth has been hired as their new General Manager.

This is a return to the Upper Ottawa Valley for Rainboth who spent eight years working as the Head Professional at the Renfrew Golf Club from 2004 until 2011.  Most recently he has been teaching golf for the last three seasons at GolfTown, which followed a role as the Associate Professional at the Perth Golf Course.

A graduate of both Carleton University and the Professional Golf Management Program at Humber College, Rainboth is very familiar with the Renfrew area. Not only has he worked in the town but he has spent nearly every summer of his life in the region.

Terry McLaughlin, owner of Dragonfly Golf Links, welcomed his new employee, who has been a pro for nearly twenty years, in the club’s newsletter.

“We are pleased and very fortunate to have Bill join our team and are looking forward to realizing the benefits of his wealth of industry experience and to him sharing his ideas on strengthening and maintaining our integrity as one of the best courses in the Ottawa Valley.”
