Bath, Ontario and Loyalist Country Club is the home to leading Symetra Tour player Augusta James and the pro will return there on July 8 as the feature player in a charity skins game.
James, currently the #8 ranked player on the LPGA’s development tour, will lead a foursome of talented players who will be showcased at the club just west of Kingston.
The Freedom 55 Financial Charity Skins Game will be the centrepiece of a day of activities at the club. James will face off against fellow Symetra Tour players Brittany Marchand (Mono, Ontario) and Jennifer Ha (Calgary, Alberta) and they will welcome amateur Diana McDonald of Kingston who will begin her college career at Wingate University this Fall, to complete the foursome.
All three of the professionals have at least one win on their resumes this year and it should prove to be a competitive match. Marchand has had past success at the course having won the Ontario Women’s Amateur there in 2012. They will vie for a purse of $5,000 with all winnings going to the charity of their choice.
Prior to the Skins Game at 12:30 that day there will be a Women’s Only networking event and golf clinic and to complete the day there will be a five course dinner including cocktails.
Tickets are available for the clinic ($40) and dinner alone ($50) or combined ($75) with the Skins Game being open to everyone.
Those interested in tickets or more information should contact Lacy Tulloch (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Geoff James (Geoff@loyalistcc.com).
