Former Manotick resident Brad Fristch and Kingstonian Matt McQuillan as both in the field this week at the EGolf Tour event in Savannah, Georgia. The first round is being played today.
While there are still some players on the course, the leader, Taylor Hall, sits at 64, 8 under par.
McQuillan tied for 10th at the eGolf Tour event last week after leading through 36 hole. He shot 70 today. That 2 under par total included a mix of four birdies and two bogeys. At the time of this post he sits in a tie for 15th place.
McQuillan’s card was not quite as mixed up as that of Fritsch, who now resides in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Posting a 71, one under par, Fritsch tallied 7 pars, 5 birdies, 4 bogeys, 1 double bogey, and an eagle on his way to what is currently a tie for 27th.
