One of Canada’s two winners so far this season on the PGA TOUR is getting a boost to his sponsorship portfolio.
Booster Juice, the Edmonton-based juice and fruit smoothie company, has signed an agreement with Mackenzie Hughes, the winner of the 2016 RSM Classic.
While primarily located in Canada, but with a growing number of franchises around the world, the company says Hughes will be a “Global Ambassador”.
“It is exciting for us to be partnering with Mackenzie, who is one of the top young Canadian golfers on TOUR, and truly aligns with who we are as a brand with his healthy eating, commitment to wellness and positive attitude,” said Dale Wishewan, President and CEO of Booster Juice.
Hughes also shared the news on his Twitter feed (see below). He is preparing to play in the Shell Houston Open this week prior to his first appearance at The Masters.
“I am thrilled to be partnering with a strong Canadian brand like Booster Juice. They are fun, energetic and all about educating Canadians on making healthy choices. Whenever I am home visiting family and friends, I am always hitting up one of the handful of Booster Juice locations in Dundas and Hamilton,” said Hughes. “Their smoothies are perfect for any point in the day whether I’m golfing, traveling, or just relaxing.”
The Dundas, Ontario native will have the Booster Juice logo on the right sleeve of his apparel throughout the duration of the deal. It slated to last through 2019 and will also include promotional campaigns, dedicated social and digital content, and appearances / joint initiatives.
