With just 36 holes left to play in the Final Stage of LPGA/Symetra Tour Qualifying School things are getting serious in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Calgary’s Jennifer Ha continues to lead the way for the nine Canadians in the field of 156 players. A third round of 69 (-3) at LPGA International Golf Club has in her in the top 20, the position necessary to earn full status on the LPGA Tour in 2017. The next 25 players and ties get conditional access to the tour while all the players making the fourth round cut will have status on the Symetra Tour.
Matching Ha’s effort on Friday was Augusta James of Bath, Ontario. James vaulted up 42 spots on Friday with her score of 69.
