There is a lot of work to be done if more Canadians will earn their way to the LPGA Tour in 2017.
Three of the nine Canadians playing the final stage of LPGA Qualifying in Daytona Beach, Florida at LPGA International Golf Club played under par rounds on Thursday. Even so, they were largely making up for lacklustre efforts in round one.
All players who make the 72 hole cut will earn Symetra Tour status. The top 20 players (no ties) after the full 90 holes will earn full status on the LPGA Tour in 2017 while the next 25 and ties will have conditional status.
