McFadden Moves Up

Playing in the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic today Tara McFadden of Thomasburg, Ontario (near Belleville) shot one under par, 71 to move up to 7th place individually.  Unfortunately she did not get a lot of suppprt from her Elon University teammates resulting in her Phoenix team dropping to 16th place overall.

McFadden, who worked at the Black Bear Ridge Golf Course last summer, shot 74 on day one  and is six strokes back of the individual leader, Crystal Reeves of Oral Roberts University (72-68).

Augusta State leads the tournament with a two-day score of 591 (284-307) while the Phoenix has shot a 622 (304-318).
