Twenty-eight-year-old Ryan Sevigny was the winner on Sunday, September 10th at the Quinte Invitational.

Sevigny, who tied for second at the 2016 Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur, used a second day round of 70 (-2) at the Black Bear Ridge Golf Club in Belleville, Ontario to surge past the field and claim the title. He recorded a 147 total (77-70) for the weekend.

With scoring conditions at a premium on the challenging layout, the Ottawa resident who plays out of the Eagle Creek Golf Club put on a remarkable display of skill to grab the trophy.

Earning second were a pair of players, Ben Graham who had the first round lead, and Riley O’Brien.

Finishing in a share of 4th place were Jonah Tremback and Mike Forbes.
