29 years into my relationship with golf one thing remains a constant for me – I love to sit and chat about the game. If you ANY interest at all in the sport – whether the subject matter be equipment, tournament golf, instruction, or golf course, you can bend my ear anytime.
Of course, I do a lot of listening as well. If you happen to peruse our back issues or are familiar with our publication, the you know that from time to time we get to intrerview the “old pros” and talk about all they have experienced in their days around the game. The stories are priceless and knowing that one day these legends will be gone, I always have time for them.
Today I get a chance to sit down with one of these men, Ron Healy, for a profile that will appear in one of our print issues later this year. Healy has had a storied career at clubs like Montreal’s Beaconsfield and London’s Sunningdale (Canada), among others.
I may be the writer but for for today, with a man like this, I let him tell the stories…
