STX Golf has revealed the first of three new putter models the company will introduce for 2012.
For years the company has been making soft-faced putter using their insert technology and the SYNC 6 carries on that tradition with a whole new head shape for them.
SYNC Tour putters have been used by pros for a total of 12 PGA Tour victories.
The new STX SS6 presents a flowing head shape in a blade that drops away quickly from the bold top-line. The heel shafted-design is also focused on helping the golfing to keep their hands forward throughout the entire stroke.
According to STX Director of Golf Steve Henneman, “STX has experienced a tremendous amount of growth this year and the Sync Series contributed greatly. The line combines non-traditional looks with performance factors that are incomparable and they are sensibly priced. Retailers and consumers both recognized their value. They are a keystone in our putter offerings and why we are introducing the SS6 as well as the SS7 and SS8 in 2012.
The contemporary slightly offset SS6 Putter head is finished with a deep distinctive black PVD and weighs 350 grams. The loft specification is 3 degrees and the lie specification is 71 degrees. It is available in both 34” and 35” in length. Signature Golf Pride grips and exclusive head-cover complete the SS6 Putter.
The company will begin shipping the SS6 Putter in February, 2012.
