We’re not big on tooting our own horn but what the heck…
Flagstick Golf Magazine has made a concerted effort in the last few years to engage our readers and deliver news in different ways. Our digital efforts started with our website more than a decade ago.
In the last few years we have added a Blog, Facebook Page, Twitter Page, YouTube Channel, Digital Flash Issues, and created affiliations with forums and other major electronic editorial outlets. (More on that in coming days)
In building these communication tools we have garnered some flattering attention for our efforts. We recently were asked to contribute an audio interview for a presentation on the use of Social Media in the Golf Industry for the attendees at the 2010 Ontario Turfgrass Symposium.
The Symposium started today at the University of Guelph. The Social Media Presentation by lecturers Andrew Douglas and Anne Douglas that includes the material from Flagstick will take place tomorrow.
We are honoured to contribute and assist in the education of the Turf Grass professionals in attendance.
If you have not done so already you can see your digital media outlets here:
