For the 18th time this year (in 29 events) Canadian Brooke Henderson has finished in the top 20 at an LPGA Tournament.
The latest came on Sunday in the limited field Lorena Ochoa Invitational where the Smiths Falls, Ontario native closed with a 71 to add to her three opening rounds of 74, 71, and 68. Her 284 (-4) total earned her 20th place alone, nine strokes off the winning score of Spaniard Carlota Ciganda.
The prize money of (USD) $13,755 took Brooke over the $1.7 Million earnings mark for the year, to $1,708,173.
The 19 year-old remains in 3rd place on the 2016 money list, and in 3rd place in the Race To The CME Globe, heading into the CME Group Tour Championship this week in Naples, Florida. It is the final event of the 2016 LPGA season.
