It was another impressive week for Canadian players on the Symetra Tour.
Three Canadians finished inside the top ten at the Garden City Charity Classic presented by Mariah Fund in Garden City, Kansas.
Leading the way was Anne-Catherine Tanguay of Quebec who tied for 4th overall after posting scores of 76, 68, and 69. Her 213 (-3) total earned her (USD) $3,660.
Tanguay finished five strokes back of winner Vicki Hurst.
It was also a strong week for Canadians Augusta James of Bath, Ontario and Samantha Richdale of British Columbia. Each earned a share of 9th place.
That was especially significant for James who boosted her position in the Volvik Race for The Card by a spot. She moves from 8th position to 7th place with three events left in the season on the LPGA’s developmental tour. The top ten finishers at the end of the season will earn status on the LPGA Tour for 2016.
