Organizers of The Great Waterway Classic, the newest event on the Canadian Tour, have revealed the names of all six sites for their “Chase The Dream Qualifiers.”
The Turning Stone Resort in Verona, New York has been announced as the latest destination to commit to holding one of the unique qualifying events. It joins eQuinelle in Kemptville, Ontario, the Brockville Country Club, Upper Canada Golf Course (Morrisburg, Ontario), Loyalist Country Club (Bath, Ontario), and Black Bear Ridge Golf Course (Belleville, Ontario) as a host site.
Exact dates for the qualifiers will be revealed shortly but expect to see them fall in June and July.
Each event is open to pros and amateurs (you can enter more than one) and the top four players from each site will go on to a final Chase The Dream Qualifier in August at Smuggler’s Glen Golf Course, the host site for this year’s Great Waterway Classic. Those 24 players will compete for three exemptions in the Canadian Tour event.
We have been informed that costs for each qualifier will be approximately $125.

The first amateur qualifier for the tournament will actually be at the Flagstick Shootout. The amateur tournament will be played on May 26/27 at Smuggler’s Glen with the winner receiving direct entry into the Great Waterway Classic on September 3-9, 2012.
