Ottawa/Seaway Golf Clubs Make Some Personnel Moves

It’s that time of year, personnel changes at golf clubs are starting to be revealed as the golf season is just around the corner. The transitions at Eastern Ontario golf clubs began last Fall but three more were revealed in recent days. Down on the Seaway the Prescott Golf Club has promoted Superintendent Scott St. John.  St. John will now fill the vacant role of General Manager at the historic course founded in 1939. OVGA Senior Ladies Intersectional Title Won by Carleton

The Carleton Golf & Yacht Club Ladies Senior Intersectional team were the winners in “A” Division of the Ottawa Valley Golf Association Senior Ladies Intersectionals sponsored by Flagstick Golf Magazine at Rivermead Golf Club. Carleton finished with 30 points, three ahead of Rivermead with Camelot in third with twenty and Arnprior fourth with seven points. O’Malley Wins Ottawa PGA Spring Open

Sean O’Malley has his first win on the Ottawa PGA Flagstick.com Players’ Tour. The Pembroke native and Assistant Professional at the Carleton Golf & Yacht Club shot three under par, 67, on Monday, May 30th, to win the Golf Trends Ottawa PGA Spring Open presented by SkyCaddie.  The semi-private Cedarhill Golf & Country Club in Nepean, Ontario.
