New General Manager For Camelot

One of the premier golf clubs in the National Capital Region has a new administrative leader. The Camelot Golf & Country Club in Cumberland has hired Greg Richardson as their new General Manager, replacing the departed Randy Moncrieff.  Richardson has held the same position at another area private club, the Carleton Golf & Yacht Club in Manotick, Ontario, since November, 2001. Tanguay Out In Front at Carleton

Fresh off an appearance at the United State Public Links Championship, Anne Catherine Tanguay is off to an early lead at the Quebec Provincial Women’s Championship. Tanguay, who attends school on a golf scholarship at the University of Oklahoma, shot one under par, 72, at Carleton Golf & Yacht Club (Manotick) in the opening round.  She leads by two strokes over Josee Doyon of Beauceville. Carleton Golf & Yacht Preps For Quebec Championship

The greens will be fast, the fairways tight, and the rough will be challenging, but the volunteers will be plentiful and friendly when Carleton Golf & Yacht Club rolls out the red carpet on July 2 to welcome the best amateur golfers from Quebec and Eastern Ontario for the NIVO Women’s Provincial Amateur Championship and Senior Championship. Ottawa/Seaway Golf Clubs Make Some Personnel Moves

It’s that time of year, personnel changes at golf clubs are starting to be revealed as the golf season is just around the corner. The transitions at Eastern Ontario golf clubs began last Fall but three more were revealed in recent days. OVGA Senior Ladies Intersectional Title Won by Carleton

The Carleton Golf & Yacht Club Ladies Senior Intersectional team were the winners in “A” Division of the Ottawa Valley Golf Association Senior Ladies Intersectionals sponsored by Flagstick Golf Magazine at Rivermead Golf Club. Carleton finished with 30 points, three ahead of Rivermead with Camelot in third with twenty and Arnprior fourth with seven points.
