Bussieres Makes a Move On Florida Pro Circuit

Marc-Etienne Bussieres made the most of his final round on Thursday at this week’s NGA Pro Golf Tour event in Florida. The 25 year-old Gatineau native who won the 2011 Quebec Spring Open charged from the back of the pack in the 54 hole tournament, posting a closing 67.  The five under par tally boosted him from a tie for 27th place after two rounds into a tie for 7th place. Cooking Up A Win In Montreal

It might have been his third win of 2011 on the Champions Tour, but that did not make it any less special for John Cook who triumphed on July 3rd at the Montreal Championship. Susan Pearl Wins Quebec Mid-Amateur

For the 2nd time in three years Susan Pearl of Ottawa is the Quebec Women’s Mid-Amateur Champion.  Pearl, a proud member at the RideauView Country Club, completed the feat on friday, June 10, at the Whitlock Golf Club in Hudson, Quebec. Susan first won the title in 2009 and 2010 lost a playoff for the championship with Canadian Golf Hall of Fame Member, Mary-Ann Hayward.
