There are always a lot of questions about what gear PGA Tour players are using, and those inquiries seem to ramp up when major championships are involved.
Of course, lots want to know what exactly what clubs U.S. Open Champion Webb Simpson employed this past week.
Simpson is a Titleist Brand Ambassador and had a nearly full complement of the company’s gear in play.
The only exception would be his PING G5i Craz-E long putter that he has played for years.
On top of using a Titleist ProV1X ball Simpson also employed these Titleist clubs:
909D3 driver (10.5), 910F fairway metals (13.5, 17), 910H hybrid (21), 680 MB irons (4-P), Vokey Design TVD sand (54) and lob (58) wedges.
Over the weekend we also had a few people asking about Jim Furyk and his driver. Many were speculating on Twitter that he might be using a shaft from Ontario-based manufacturer ACCRA Golf based on the graphics of the one in his Callaway RAZR Fit driver. It was, in fact, a Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 6.2.
