The last wave of the 1st stage PGA Tour Qualifying completed play on Saturday with 14 Canadians advancing successfully to the 2nd stage of Qualifying.
From a regional standpoint there were just two players from Eastern Ontario entered.
Matt McQuillan of Kingston qualified in Texas last week while Brad Fritsch, formerly of Manotick, missed by just a couple strokes on Friday.
