Sadly we must report the death of Judge Alice McKeown, who passed away early on Thursday morning.
She was admirable for so many reasons and many a golfer have her to thank for providing the place where they grew up playing the game.
The vivacious lady certainly made her mark on the world, including the founding of the Amherstview Golf Club, located just west of Kingston, Ontario.
Our deepest condolences go out to her family and friends.
