Augusta James & Brittany Henderson Earn Exemptions

The 2015 Manulife LPGA Classic will have two more players in the field from Eastern Ontario.  It was announced Wednesday, that Augusta James and Brittany Henderson have been granted Sponsor’s Exemptions into the LPGA tournament that will take place June 3-7 at the Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge, Ontario.

The pair join Brittany’s younger sister, Brooke Henderson, who was announced as a Sponsor’s Exemption earlier this month as the event’s Media Day.

Bath, Ontario’s Augusta James is currently the #2 player on the Volvik Race For The Card Money List on the Symetra Tour.  She won earlier this year at the Chico’s Patty Berg Memorial and just last week lost in a playoff at the Symetra Classic.

Brittany Henderson, a native of Smiths Falls, Ontario and also a rookie on the Symetra Tour, has made four cuts this season including a second place finish at the Florida’s Natural Charity Classic.  

Both players are former members of the Team Canada National Program.

Seven Canadians are currently scheduled to tee it up during the first week of June.  Augusta and Brittany will be joined by Alena Sharp, Sue Kim, Lorie Kane, Jennifer Kirby, and Brooke Henderson.
