Brad Fritsch Moves On To The Weekend

Manotick, Ontario’s Brad Fritsch will make another cheque in his effort to earn status on the PGA TOUR for 2016 through the Tour Finals.

The former member of the PGA TOUR added a two under par, 70, to his tally on Friday at the Small Business Connection Championship at River Run in Davidson, North Carolina.  Added to his opening 71 he now sits at -3 after 36 holes and shares 36th place overall.

His round on Friday moved him 20 spots up the leaderboard.

Fritsch is playing for one of the remaining 25 PGA TOUR cards available through the four Tour Finals tournaments.  Two tournaments of the four remain after this week.

Brad was 11th in the rankings that will decide the top 25 headed into this week’s event; he is projected at 19th place after Friday’s round.

Fellow Canadian Roger Sloan of British Columbia missed the cut after rounds of 72 and 76.
