Gatineau, Quebec’s Marc-Etienne Bussieres shot his way into the top ten on Tuesday at this week’s NGA Pro Golf Tour (Formerly Hooters Tour) event in Florida.
The young pro shot three under par, 69, at the Metro West Golf Club near Orlando, Florida to earn a share of seventh place after the first round. It is a crowded spot as he shares it with nine other golfers.
That group is three strokes back of first-round leader Randall Hutchison of Traverse City, Michigan who opened with 66.
Also competing at the tournament is Kingston native Brad Revell. Revell had a quiet day on Tuesday, posting 16 pars, a birdie and a bogey for an even par score of 72. He is tied for 44th place after round one.
Only the top 40 players plus ties will advance to the third and final round on Thursday.
