Canadian G&CC Adds Director Of Golf

This week the Canadian Golf & Country Club in Ashton, Ontario (just west of Ottawa) will make quite an addition to their team.  Long-time GolfTown East Manager Lee Tamburano will be joining the club as the new Director of Golf.  Lee’s experience also includes working as an assistant professional at the Arnprior Golf Club as well as working for Chuck Brown Golf and Pro Golf when they were still in business in Ottawa.

Tamburano, who is re-instating his CPGA Membership, says he has a lot of plans for 2011 at the facility and laid some of them out for Flagstick in a story that will appear in our Spring print issue that is out on March 12th.

A major focus for the Canadian this year will be events at their massive new practice facility and re-branded Golf Academy.

Be sure to pick up the issue, or read the digital version, to find out more on what the Canadian G&CC has planned for the golf season to come.
