The Ottawa area qualifier for the Ontario Bantam Boys’ Golf Championships is a little short on registrants. Officials from the Golf Association of Ontario indicate they are looking for more players aged 14 and under as of August 7, 2014.
There are just three qualifiers for this provincial championship that has been contested since 1923 and the Hylands Qualifier on July 7th is a great opportunity to advance to the championship field.
It is especially convenient for Eastern Ontario golfers this year when the actual Championship will be played at the Canadian Golf & Country Club in Ashton, ON (Just west of Ottawa) on August 6 and 7, 2014.
