On the heels of two top ten finishes Brooke Henderson is contending again on the LPGA TOUR.
Henderson, who tied for 4th place in China last week, the first event of the 2016 LPGA Asian Swing, turned in a 68 (-4) in round one at the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship.
The 19 year-old Canadian had just one blemish on her first round card, a bogey on the 9th hole. She finished strongly with three birdies on her final four holes of the day at the Miramar Golf Country Club in Taipai.
Henderson shares second place with two other players, Paula Creamer & Any Yang. Japan’s Sakura Yokomine has the lead at -5.
Alena Sharp of Canada struggled to a score of 78 and shares 68th place.
