Fritsch Advances at PGA Tour Q-School

A final round of 71 on Friday over the Pinewild CC Magnolia Course in Pinehurst, North Carolina was more than enough to help Brad Fritsch advance to second stage of PGA Tour Qualifying.

The 33 year-old who spent his formative years in the Manotick, Ontario area finished the tournament at 6 under par after round of 70,74,67, and 71. Brad finsihed in second place alone, following only the medalist at the site, fellow Canadian Richard Scott.

Play will begin at six second stage qualifying sites in Mid-November with the Finals of Qualifying taking place at PGA West in La Quinta, California starting on November 30th.  Fritsch will need to reach that event in order to secure any level of status on the Nationwide or PGA Tour.  He played the Nationwide Tour in 2007-2009.

Brad is slated for the play next week in the California desert at the Canadian Tour’s Desert Dunes Classic.

He is currently 14th on the Canadian Tour’s Order of Merit heading into the final event of the season.
