Fritsch Lurking In Calgary

Not that he is picky, but a win this week on the Canadian Tour would be rather fitting for Brad Fritsch.   Although he grew up in Manotick, Ontario, the 33 year-old was actually born in Alberta (Edmonton) and Calgary would be a great place for him to get that first win on the Canadian circuit.

He will have that chance Sunday after a 67 in round three of the ATB Financial Classic at Bearspaw GC moved him into a tie for 3rd place and within three shots of the co-leaders, Dustin Risdon and Hugo Leon.

Risdon and Leon sit at 13 under par through three rounds while Fritsch is tucked just behind with Alex Coe and Jose de Jesus Rodriguez in a pack at 10 under par.

Fritsch will tee off Sunday in the penultimate group with Rodriguez at 12:21 local time on Sunday.
