Brad Fritsch is off to a great start at the Web.com Tour’s Utah Championship.
The former Manotick, Ontario resident who is still a member at Rideau View G&CC carved his way through the Willow Creek Country Club in Sandy, Utah in just 64 strokes on Thursday with just a single bogey on his card.
His seven under par total was enough to put him in a share of first place with Doug Labelle II and Morgan Hoffmann.
His fellow Canadian, James Love, is also in the top ten after a five under par round of 66 that put him in a share of fifth place.
Fritsch will tee off at 12:20 p.m. local time on Friday off the tenth tee.
