The low scoring trend continued in round three of the Reignwood LPGA Classic in Beijing, China.

Second round co-leaders Mi Jung Hur and Brooke Henderson still reside at the top of the leaderboard. Hur added a third round 67 (-6) to her total and now has the lead at -20 while Henderson added a third round 68 to her opening pair of 66’s and has second place alone.

Another trio of players sit at -17, five clear of the rest of the field.

Henderson and Hur volleyed back and forth through the round with both ending up free of bogies.

“I think the lead switched many times out there,” commented Henderson. “5-under is a solid round for me and I’m happy with that. I would’ve liked to have finished with a few more birdies. Left one on 17 and kind of gave 18 away.”

The Canadian is expecting more fireworks for the final round as she chases her 3rd win of the LPGA season. She looked ahead to what she expects.

“I think the winner tomorrow is going to shoot a really low score. I don’t think anybody is going to run away with it necessarily. I think it’ll be really tight right down until the end. So making lots of birdies and playing smart all the way around.”

Two other Canadians are in the field. Maude-Aimee Leblanc (72-66-76) is tied for 28th while Alena Sharp (74-73-73) shares 58th.
