It’s hard to believe that 2010 is coming to a close.
It has been an incredible year in golf and all the staff at Flagstick Golf Magazine and it’s affiliated properties have been happy to share it with you.
Not only were there amazing stories from around the world but more than a few from within Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, the core of Flagstick’s print coverage.
2010 was a year of great strides for us; it surpassed all our expectations.
With the continued focus on our print publications (Flagstick Golf Magazine , Flagstick For Women, Strokesavers) and the help of social media (Flagstick.com, Twitter.com/flagstick , Facebook.com/flagstick, and Youtube.com/flagstickgolf) and editorial partnerships with groups like EMC Community Newspapers and websites like GolfWRX.com our readership blossomed to unprecedented levels in this past year and we are thankful for every person who took the time to read one of our features, stories, columns, Facebook posts, and Tweets.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank our many marketing partners; it is with their support that we can continue to publish golf stories within the region and around the world.
As we look ahead to 2011 we will have plenty of things in store for our readership. Our May 2011 issue will mark the culmination of 15 years of Flagstick in print and we plan to celebrate that in many ways. While the core of what we do will remain the same, we have some extra special touches lined up for 2011 and beyond that we think you all will enjoy.
While we take a short break over the Holiday Season to get ready for the year to come (unless, of courses there is urgent breaking golf news) we want to wish all of you the best for the Holidays and the New Year, no matter how you celebrate.
Thank you from all of us at Flagstick for an amazing 2010 and we look forward to sharing 2011 with you as well.
