Brooke Henderson Contending at Coates Golf Championship

With play suspended due to darkness Friday night in the middle of her third round, Brooke Henderson remains in contention at the LPGA Coates Golf Championship.

Henderson was even par for the first nine holes of her third round before play was halted for the day in Ocala, Florida. She remains at -4 total after two complete rounds of 70, and three strokes off the lead of Lyda Ko and Ha Na Jang.

Play will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The Smiths Falls, Ontario golfer is the only Canadian remaining in the field.

Both Maude-Aimee Leblanc of Sherbrooke, Quebec and Alena Sharp of Hamilton, Ontario, missed the 36-hole cut.
