Hill Leads; Bussieres Chasing

Bright’s Grove Ontario native Matt Hill is trying to run down a win this week on the NGA Hooters Tour Winter Series at an event being played near Orlando, Florida.

The former NCAA Champion leads by just a stroke with one round left to play on Thursday.  His scores of 68 and 69 in the 1st two rounds put him one ahead of five players including fellow Canadian David Markle and former PGA Tour player Casey Wittenberg.

Four strokes off the pace, after rounds of 72 and 69, is Gatineau’s Marc-Etienne Bussieres.  The Quebec native is back on track after a couple missed cuts in recent Hooters Tour events.
